Satellite
The Venµs micro-satellite is the result of the cooperation between France and Israel. Its platform is supplied by Israel and its scientific payload is supplied by CNES.
The satellite is composed of:
- an IMPS micro-satellite platform (Improved Multi Purpose Satellite) supplied by IAI (Israeli Aerospace Industries),
- a payload which houses:
- a technological component: the IHET thruster (Israeli Hall Effect Thruster)
- a scientific component: the multispectral camera.
Characteristics of the multispectral camera
The values below are approximate, for more precision you can consult the document in appendix: Calculation of equivalent solar irradiance and equivalent wavelength (pdf - 31.24 KB)
